Brent Buterbaugh

Commissioner

A lifelong baseball fan, Brent founded Gotham City Softball in 2025 with a mission to provide a softball league that was truly player-focused and delivered a fun, professional, and community-oriented experience. You can catch him playing with his team, The Bat Men, in the Sunday Brooklyn league!

Josiah DeBoer

Field Manager, Manhattan

Josiah is passionate about both the comradery and competition of Gotham City. A former staff writer for PitcherList, he is a lifelong Minnesota Twins fan. You can find him on site when Manhattan games are being played.

Zach Maoz

Field Manager, Brooklyn

Zach is a Brooklyn native who knows Gotham City Softball is about more than just the game—it's about building friendships, competing together, and making each other better. He brings a team-first mentality and loves being part of a community that pushes each other to improve their game. You can find him playing in the Sunday Brooklyn league with the Bat Men!

Sam PArks

Field Coordinator, Manhattan

Sam became a baseball fan during the Texas Rangers' Cinderella run of '23, and has been a big fan of the team ever since. Sam loves building friendships and is always there to lend a helping hand. If you have questions, need a band-aid, or just want to talk make sure to stop and say hi!

JASON ADICKS

Field Coordinator

As a lover of all things sports, Jason joined Gotham City Softball for its inaugural season has has played in it ever since! He's a member of The Bat Men and depending on the weekend you'll see him playing or coordinating in both Manhattan and Brooklyn! Jason prides himself on competition and community.

Jack Kubinec

Field Coordinator

Jack joined Gotham City's first Brooklyn men's league as a free agent after having not swung a bat since Little League. He now plays with The Bat Men and loves hanging out and competing alongside his teammates every weekend. His swing has also improved, a little.
